I have had the great privilege to paint family portraits for many clients throughout Canada for the past 17 years as a full-time visual artist. I believe a painted portrait is like grandma’s jewelry and will continue to be passed down for generations to come. I have enjoyed getting to know many of my clients and their families over the years as many of them have become repeat clients. Some have ordered as many as 6 separate commissions from me over the years! Some of my work has been reproduced as limited edition reproductions and giclees. My work is primarily in watercolour, acrylic, some oil and graphite pencil. I will not post my c.v. here but if you wish you can view it on my web site.
In the past 4 or so years I have expanded into art instruction, even teaching as an approved instructor for Grumbacher Acrylics. It has a been a great time of meeting new kindred spirits in the art community and a chance for me to explore new territory creatively. Friendships and some great student art has been created during my times of instruction. I am especially looking forward to my upcoming Vietnam & Cambodia Group Painting Excursion tentatively set for Nov. 10th – 24th, 2016 . (Just 14 students will b able to attend. Non- painting partners are also welcome.) I am pleased to be partnering with Marlin Travel, Regina and TC Asia out of B.C. on this my fourth painting excursion. Feel free to contact me for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope you enjoy my posts on the business of art, my travels and adventures living as an artist full-time. Hopefully we can connect by the following means also:
